FND Awareness Day – 25 March 2026
FND Awareness Day
FND Awareness Day is held annually on 25 March and is recognised in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
This FND Awareness Day, we encourage people to open the door to conversation and learning about Functional Neurological Disorder. Every person living with FND is unique, with their own combination of symptoms, comorbidities, and life experiences.
As a result, FND requires an individualised approach to care, management, and treatment. We call on the health, education, and disability sectors—as well as the wider community—to listen to and centre the voices of those with lived experience of FND.
By understanding how FND affects each person differently, we can support more inclusive, responsive, and effective approaches to treatment, management, and participation
